Delete your account
You can delete your NexiVirta account and personal data at any time. Here's how, and what happens to your data.
Delete from the app
- Open the NexiVirta app (or log in at nexivirta.fi).
- Go to the menu → Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm by typing DELETE.
Or request it by email
Email contact@nexivirta.fi from your account email address and we'll process it within a few working days.
What gets deleted
- Your login (you'll no longer be able to sign in).
- Your profile and personal contact details, and your profile photo.
What is kept, and for how long
NexiVirta is a registered Finnish bookkeeping service. Under the Finnish Accounting Act
(Kirjanpitolaki), we're legally required to retain accounting records — such as
invoices, receipts and ledger entries — for the statutory retention period (currently
6 years). These records are deleted after that period. This is the only data retained,
and only for that legal reason.
